Pink Lady Trip Planning exists because of a problem I ran into myself.
In 2025, I came to Belize as a solo traveler, excited to explore everything the country had to offer. I quickly discovered that finding things I wanted to do was one thing. Actually booking the excursions I wanted was another.
Many tours require a minimum number of participants before they'll run. As a solo traveler, I often found myself in a cumbersome position: I was willing to pay for my own spot, excited to go, and ready to be standing in one of the most beautiful places in the world, but I couldn't figure out how to properly plan my expectations because I was only one person; I couldn't even get on waitlists because they didn't exist.
What I didn't realize before I arrived is that a lot of the magic happens through local knowledge. Waitlists do exist. Operators talk to each other. Opportunities open up. But figuring out how the system works usually happens after you're already here.
By the time I understood this, I was already here. I was fortunate enough to make it work. I joined excursions, explored Belize, and fell in love with the country. But I couldn't stop thinking about how many travelers were probably having the same experience I had.
That's when the idea for Pink Lady Trip Planning began.
Closing the Gap Between Research and Reality
There are plenty of websites that will tell you what you can do in Belize.
What many travelers actually need is help understanding what is realistically available during their stay, how excursions fit together, and how to improve their chances of getting onto the experiences they're excited about before they arrive.
Pink Lady Trip Planning was created to bridge that gap.
My goal is simple: help travelers arrive with a plan, confidence, and experiences to look forward to instead of spending the first few days trying to figure everything out.
Why "Pink Lady"?
The name is more personal than people might expect.
I've always loved pink. So much so that when I moved into my cabana in Hopkins Village, my landlord embraced the theme completely. The exterior was painted pink. The interior became pink too.
The nickname stuck.
When it came time to name the business, Pink Lady felt right because it reflected the person behind it. The business isn't a large travel agency. It's me and my small local team, helping travelers navigate Belize with the same curiosity, excitement, and determination that brought me here in the first place.
From Tech to Travel
Before Belize, my career was built in client relations within the technology industry.
My background isn't in traditional tourism.
It's in understanding people, managing expectations, solving operational challenges, and building systems that make complicated processes easier to navigate.
The skills are surprisingly transferable.
Whether someone is implementing software or planning a vacation, they want the same thing: clear communication, thoughtful guidance, and confidence that someone is helping them make informed decisions.
Today, I use those same skills to help travelers make the most of their Belize experience.
